Is this YOU? Among your friends, you are the go-to person whenever someone moves, remodels or just rearranges their house. They count on your spatial (and common!) sense and physical assistance for packing, unpacking and arranging their kitchens. They love what you do with their closets, basements, garages -- even the way you arrange pictures on the wall.

We are a Seattle-area move management company and proud division of 120+ year-old Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage. We have immediate openings for Move Specialists and we promote from within to the position of Move Manager. 

Our services go far beyond those of traditional moving companies -- although we do work closely with the movers. Our colleagues at Hansen Bros. focus on getting things from one place to another. We focus on helping people prepare for the move, survive the move, and get comfortably settled in their new home! 

As a Move Manager or Move Specialist, your job will be to provide a suite of custom services that will vary according to each client's needs and budget. 

On a typical job, you may: 

  • Help sort items that will be kept, donated, sold or otherwise disposed of 

  • Pack items to be transported by the movers or for storage 

  • Help with resettling by unpacking boxes, hanging art, organizing kitchens and closets, etc. 

  • Move Managers also coordinate the schedules and details for the movers and others as necessary

This candidate also possesses these traits: 

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, able to perform with minimal supervision 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clients 

  • Good team player with a positive attitude -- required 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail 

  • Refined verbal communication skills 

  • The ability to lift and carry 35 pounds 

  • A valid Washington State driver's license and a good driving record 

We dispatch from our North Seattle office and serve clients throughout the greater Puget Sound region.
