They count on your spatial (and common!) sense and physical assistance for packing, unpacking and arranging their belongings. We are a Seattle-area move management company and proud division of 130+ year-old Hansen Bros. Moving & Storage. Business is booming and we have immediate openings! 

Our services go far beyond those of traditional moving companies -- although we do work closely with the movers. Our colleagues at Hansen Bros. focus on getting things from one place to another. We focus on helping people prepare for the move and get comfortably settled in their new home! 

In this position, your job will be to provide a suite of custom services that will vary according to each client's needs and budget. 

On a typical job, you will: 

  • Pack the clients belongings to be transported by the movers or for storage 

  • Resettle the client in their new residence - unpacking boxes, hanging art, organizing kitchens and closets, etc.


Our ideal candidates are high-integrity individuals seeking a flexible schedule, who enjoy physical work, like to have fun with other people, and take pride in providing service that exceeds customer expectations.

 

This candidate also possesses these traits: 

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, able to perform with minimal supervision 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clients 

  • Good team player with a positive attitude -- required 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail 

  • Refined verbal communication skills & ability to speak and read English

Position Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the US

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds 

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for an 8 hour shift

  • Reliable transportation and attendance

  • Submission to a pre-employment illegal drug test

  • Submission to a pre-employment background check
